When I started Little Leaf Bookkeeping, it wasn’t just about launching a business, it was about creating a life that felt more present.

I spent 10 ½ years as a teacher, but life shifted when my youngest received her medical diagnosis. Becoming a special needs mom has taught me so much about patience, balance, and what truly matters. I knew I wanted to build something that allowed me to be more present for my family while still doing meaningful work.

That’s how Little Leaf was born; out of a desire to bring calm to the chaos, both in my own life and for other small business owners.

Today, as a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I help small businesses and nonprofits find clarity and peace in their finances, so they can focus on the parts of their business (and life) that truly bring them joy.

"Little Leaf" is a name that brings together a few of the things I love most. I’ve always loved plants and the beauty of watching something small grow over time. My two little girls are the biggest inspiration behind this business, and the “leaf” also represents each of us as part of our family tree. To me, a little leaf represents growth, family, and the idea that something small can become something beautiful with the right care. That meaning felt like the perfect fit for a bookkeeping business built to help small businesses grow.
